  1. Seems to me, the EuroAmericanPlusElsewhere present financial quagmire directly results from financially irresponsible governance on all sides. The banks, as part of that, benefit. Voters, whose money funds it, are the ultimate cause, electing and reelecting the perpetrators. The old: “You can’t swindle an honest man,” comes to mind…
