Bat For Lashes The Haunted Man

In todays music review Freddie Matthews looks at Bat For Lashes an independent music band.

Bat For Lashes

The band are from Bristol and sound like Sarah McLachlan and seemed to be influenced by Tori Amos and the Cocteau Twins according to Freddie.

Natasha Khan is the lead singer for The Haunted Man studio album. Previous two albums from Natasha were Mercury Music Prize nominations: Fur and Gold and ‘Two Suns‘ perhaps this album will get them an award.

The Haunted Man album cover was taken by Ryan McGinley a popular photographer here in the UK.

  1. An interesting and beautiful song. The music and the voice are in a way for me at least somewhat haunting, enchanting and uplifting all at once. Thank you and I am certainly going to have to explore more of their artfully expressed sentiments.
